Our proprietary algorithm uses “wellness markers” across the fields of neuroscience, nutrition, and psychology to establish your physical baseline and also provide you with probabilistic insights into your physical health, brain health and cognitive function. We use conditional logic to ask questions that are most relevant to your individual needs, and take your existing medical conditions (and medications) into account when providing feedback, including:
- Potential nutrient gaps or nutrient deficiencies, based on diet/lifestyle/overall health. Over 30% of Americans are at risk for having at least one nutrient deficiency and the likelihood increases, based on a number of factors. (1)
- Nutrients which might help mitigate or reduce the symptoms most often experienced with the pre-existing health conditions you marked. Suboptimal levels of folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 are a risk factor or cardiovascular disease; low levels of vitamin D increase the likelihood of osteopenia and fractures (2). Many chronic diseases can be managed or even treated by making adjustments to your diet and nutrient intake.
- Nutrients that have been shown to improve cognitive function and brain health(3), in addition to research and clinical studies for validation and context (4).
